Wedding invitation

There’s something special about the act of creating something for friends and family. Whether it’s cooking a curry feast or producing a piece of design work, there’s something very satisfying when everyone enjoys the end product. Family members are often tough clients but fortunately this wasn’t the case here. My cousin was getting married close to Christmas at Cottiers in Glasgow and wanted the design to have a wintry feel to it. The outers were printed using just black toner from a Xerox 1000 digital press and them foil blocked by Ian Stopford at IST printing. The inners were printed on a Xerox 1000 with variable data printing so that the information was customised for each guest.

Envelopes: GF Smith Colourplan (Azure Blue).

Outers: GF Smith Colourplan (Azure Blue) 350gsm printed on Xerox 1000 and foil blocked.

Inners: GF Smith Colourplan (Natural) printed on Xerox 1000 with variable data.
