Wuid & Stitch

A maker's marketplace

Wuid & Stitch is owned and run by Chris Lumsden. Chris trained as a chef in the USA and worked for many years in the food business. More recently, while he was making award-winning cheese in Cornwall, he filled his spare time learning new skills such as wood-turning, welding and furniture restoration. His renovation abilities were honed even more after completing an upholstery course in Manchester. With these complementary skills, Wuid & Stitch was born. The shop has workshop space in the back for upholstery commissions and furniture restorations and sells work by other local makers.

Chris asked me if I could create him some shop signage, artist mini-bios, a business card and web page on a budget. The business cards were printed on a brown kraft substrate for a tactile, recycled effect.

After completing his branding, I made some art print and cushions for sale in his shop and and we have been discussing further collaborations for 2020 so watch this space!
